RFP Machine focuses on the fundamental mechanics of using and maintaining a Pragmatech knowledge base using The RFP Machine or Proposal Automation Suite. This course is intended for professionals who will be working with an existing knowledge base. This hands-on course provides extensive practice exercises to reinforce the lessons learned.
By attending the RFP Machine class, you will learn how to manage knowledge base content and then respond to RFPs and other requests for information. You will learn how to use your Pragmatech tool to effectively respond to RFPs, collaborate with subject matter experts, and how to use features to improve your productivity and improve the quality of your proposal. Several content maintenance methods are reviewed and practiced. You will learn how to easily manage formatting of content within the knowledge base, as well as for an RFP response. You will also learn easy steps to add new content, as well as time saving tips to manage and update content. An overview of knowledge base best practices is presented and workshop time is used to evaluate your knowledge base against the best practices.
Prerequisite
An existing knowledge base created with The RFP Machine or Proposal Automation Suite.
Optional Workshop Day
When registering for the RFP Machine class, consider staying for an additional workshop day. Utilize the expertise of a SalesEdge professional trainer to guide you through using automated tools within the product to maximize the efficiency of your knowledge base.
What to Bring
Participants may bring a copy of their knowledge base. A brief segment of the course provides a workshop where participants review their own knowledge base and evaluate it against best practices that they have learned. To make a copy of your knowledge base from The RFP Machine or Proposal Automation Suite, select the File menu, and then Make Backup. Copy the newly created .mdb file to a CD or removable memory drive.
